Ipswich Gang Show has been performing every year since 1938 – except during WW2 – and we are one of thousands of Gang Shows held in all parts of the UK and the World. Over 70 Scouts and Guides from around Ipswich are on stage performing to an audience of around 1,000 people. Why don’t you join us?
Gang Show is a mix of song and dance, comedy and sometimes more serious items.
Would you like to be part of this exciting event?
You do not need any special talent, just wanting to have fun on stage is sufficient.
Auditions are being held for Scouts, Explorers, Guides, Rangers and all section leaders on Saturday 7th October at the Christchurch church hall in Tacket Street. You should be there by 6.15pm and will be finished by ~9.00pm. To audition simply turn up on the Saturday.
Rehearsals will start on Saturday 11th November and take place at the same church. These start at 6.15pm. For the first two weeks we finish at 9.00pm and after that it will be 9.30pm. We will be at the theatre from March 29th to 6th April 2024 with performances from the 3rd to the 6th with both a matinee and an evening performance on the 6th April 2024 (all day).
